You told us: I'm thinking about stopping
Thinking about stopping? Can we ask why?
It’s your decision, and there’s no pressure. There’s no subscription: you only order when you need to. Telling us why helps us support you better.
What’s the main reason?
Side effects
Side effects can often be managed, and your prescriber can review your dose. Please talk to us before you stop. Read our side effects guidance.
Not seeing enough progress
Progress can be slow at first while your dose is built up, and results vary. What to expect.
Cost
Thanks for being honest with us. There’s no subscription to cancel: you only order when you need to. If you’d like to talk it through, we’re here.
Hard to keep up
Missed doses and busy weeks are common, and there are simple ways to make it easier. Tips for staying consistent.
I have questions
We’re happy to answer them before you decide. Browse common questions.
Good to know before you stop
Talk to us first
If you have type 2 diabetes, your blood sugar may rise after stopping, so tell us and your GP. If you stop and later want to restart, you may need a lower dose.
Planning a pregnancy?
These medicines need to be stopped at least 1 to 2 months before trying to conceive, depending on which one you take. Speak to us first.
Keep the habits
In clinical trials, many people who stopped treatment regained much of the weight they had lost within a year. The eating and activity habits you’ve built are worth keeping.
Trials: STEP 1 extension (Wilding et al., Diabetes Obes Metab 2022) and SURMOUNT-4 (Aronne et al., JAMA 2024). Trial results are averages, and individual results vary.
Talk it through with a pharmacist
No pressure either way. Tell us what’s on your mind.
